Ultapani the Biodiversity showcase

A part of larger landscape - Manas Biosphere Reserve, Ultapani is a forest village under Chirang Reserve Forest, is just two hours drive from Astha Nature's Home.

A sure sightingsite for the rare and endangered Golden Langurs and Elephants. Ultapani is also famous for large colonies of Hornbills, numerious butterflies and wild Orchidarium.

Inhabited by the nature worshiper, Bodos and Nepalees. Ultapani offers an unforgettable experience of famous rural hospitalitiy of the region.

Astha will arrange accommodation in Forest Bunglow, Tenth Accommodation, Night Camping and Home stays at Ultapani, including activities like Nature Trails and Wildlife viewing, Bird watching at Na-bhandar a Bird watcher paradise and Sacred forests of Chiknajhar. The Jeep Safari at Night can also be arranged.
   
Manas National Park
The place with multiple identities. Manas is a unique identical wildlife habitate covered by Astha. It is located just one and half hours drive from Astha Nature's Home. One can comfortably visit Manas with arranged facilities of Astha. Astha provides accommodation in well maintained rest house of Fatemabad Tea Estate and Forest Bunglow at Mathanguri. Elephant safari and jeep safari will be a significant attraction for the tourists. One can also enjoy rafting at Manas National Park.
   
Kaziranga National Park
Kaziranga National Park lies partly in Golaghat District and partly in Nagaon District of Assam. It is the oldest park in assam covers an area of 430 Sq kms along the river Brahmaputra on the North and the Karbi Anglong hills on the South. The National Highway 37 passes through the park area and tea estates, hemmed by table-top tea bushes.
   
Dibru-Saikhowa National Park
Dibru-Saikhowa National Park is a biosphere reserve located on the alluvial flood plains of Brahmaputra. Its vegetation comprises of mainly semi-wet evergreen forest, tropical moist desiduous forest, bamboo and cane breakes. A great variety of orchids blossom in the park.
   
Kachugaon Forest
Just a three hours drive from Astha any tourist can visit Kachugaon, a place with breath taking natural beauty and wilderness. Kachugaon is famous for - (a) The oldest and largest sal forest, (b) Ruins of the British Tram line once managed by Forest Department, (c) Rural Hospitality and Traditional Food, (d) Animal sighting: Elephant, Golden Langur, Spotted Deer, Wild Dog, Yellow throated Marten, Peafowl, etc.
   
Zumduar Forest
Another two hours journey from Kachugaon, Jamduar is the tri junction of Bhutan, Assam and West Bengal. A place with magnificant sceneic beauty of the river Sankosh, semi evergreen and moist deciduous forest straddling in the foothills of greater Himalayas.
   
Chakrasila Wildlife Sanctuary
The only Golden Langur sanctuary in the world. Just one and half hour journey from Astha a visitor can enjoy the splendid natural ambience and watch one of the rarest but beautiful primates Golden langur. Staying in Tent accommodation, Forest IB or Topobon, the community managed interpretation centre visitors can enjoy nature trail and bird watching and boating in Diplai and Dheer beel.
